Marketplace Men
4th Sunday of the month @ 5pm

A building is only as good as the foundation that it has been built upon. Anyone can enter a race, start a project or talk about great exploits; it takes real character to finish a race, complete a project and do great exploits. When Jesus walked the earth in human flesh He knew where He came from, who He was and what He was called to do. Men have a great responsibility to represent the finished work of the cross to society. Victorious living in the home and on the job are sign posts to the world that God does come and live inside a God-fearing man, not to take away but to bring life. Men are to walk out their life in the marketplace not in the shallow realms of intimidation, bully business practices and fear but through a living vital relationship with God who gives strength to the weak, wisdom to the meek and calls those things which do not exist as though they do. As iron sharpens iron so do men sharpen other men. Reaching the top is all about flipping the pyramid upside down and being a foundation to others as men encourage men. Prayer  "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force." (Matthew 11:12) There has been a declaration from heaven of new things into the earth. Vast changes are taking place throughout the Church and are moving us into new dimensions of revelation, understanding and faith; partnering with the Spirit of God to bring forcefully the purposes of God in the earth. I like to say "on earth as it is in heaven." When Jesus taught His disciples how to pray He said, "Your kingdom come your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." (Luke 11:2) In 11 Corinthians 10:4,5 it says that our weapons are mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds. A stronghold is a fortress; something set up to resist the advancement of something. Strongholds are the mindsets of people. These mindsets are intended to keep the truth out and hold in the lies therefore being resistant to change. The Church has the ability to blast and demolish the enemy's fortresses but we must pick up the weapons and learn how to skilfully use them to see the kingdom of God come on the earth. Our God is a God of purpose, plan, design and objectivity. In this time and season He is downloading from heaven His wisdom and strategies into His people. (Ephesians 3;10,11) We have the glorious opportunity of being part of His plan. What an honour! Praise and Worship God is a creator, He is the original! Created in His image, God has placed inside of us the ability to create. At Life International Church we have a strong desire to create an atmosphere that honours God. The greatest act of creation in Genesis 1 came at a time of the greatest chaos. Our focus is on living our lives in such a way that we reflect His glory. As we declare who God is and what He has done for us in our corporate praise and worship, the atmosphere is filled with His presence in a tangible way. People are changed forever by encountering God's presence. Music and the arts are some of the ways that we express our love for God. Praise and worship is a lifestyle that releases the goodness of God. Vibrant praise and deep worship are always a part of every gathering at LIC. Through the medium of music by His Spirit, God continues to touch hearts, change lives and heal the wounded. The prophetic is stirred up and released in our times of corporate adoration. "But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself." John 12:32.

Extreme Makeover
Every Other Wednesday @ 1pm

The women of our generation are destined to succeed, destined to prosper, destined to impact and destined to know that they have a purpose. At Extreme Makeover you will discover your identity in Christ and the rich inheritance that has been given to you as you encounter the transforming Power and Presence of the Holy Spirit. You will not leave the same way you came. All women are welcome to come and join us for fun and fellowship every other Wednesday from 1 - 3 pm. "And all of us as with unveiled face behold as in a mirror the glory of the Lord are constantly being transfigured in His very own image in ever increasing splendour and from one degree of glory to another for this comes from the Lord Who is the Spirit."  11 Corinthians 3:18

Young Adults
1st Saturday of the month

Young Adults is the place to be! If you are 18yrs and up come and hang out with us on the first Saturday night of the month. We always have a great time, whether it's having a barbeque, racing down a tubing mountain, sand castle building on the beach, or roasting marshmallows over a campfire you won't want to miss it! At Life International Church we seek to empower youth 13 - 18 years of age to passionately seek their God, fearlessly be who they were created to be and aggressively advance the Kingdom of Heaven. In a society where many of our teens are lost, lonely, confused, angry and hurting, we believe that God is the answer. "Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength." (Deuteronomy 6:5) And "seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33). We strive to provide a safe place where our youth can feel comfortable being themselves and build solid, positive friendships with other teens who are dealing with the same challenges. Our events are designed to develop and strengthen relationships with God and each other through fun, excitement and adventure. Go fast - Go far - Go FULL THROTTLE!

Warriors in White
4th Sunday of the month

Today's young women and girls are bombarded daily with images and impressions about who they should be, what they should do and what they should look like.  Through the Warriors in White program, young women and girls are taught their value and acceptance through Christ.  They learn that purity is still a virtue worth protecting and fighting for and presented with all the relevant information they need to make wise and Godly decisions about friendships, relationships and intimacy.  Our goal is to instill in the girls and young women that attend a level of self worth and value that the temptation to compromise is no longer tempting.  We are raising up a generation of women who have the strength to stand for purity, refuse to compromise their values and make decisions based on their Godly destiny rather than what their peers are doing and what society has deemed acceptable.

Children's Ministry - Samuel's Garden
Sunday mornings after praise and worship

1 Samuel 16:13 "So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the LORD came upon David in power." We believe that all children are called by God and destined for a heavenly purpose, just as David was anointed when he was just a child with the power of the Spirit, we teach our children that they are valuable members of the body of Christ NOW. Our mission is to first and foremost, Love, Accept and Protect all children that have been placed in our care. Each leader that is involved in working directly with the children is required to undergo an extensive background check and attend Abuse Prevention Training Sessions. We, as leaders will then Perceive, Identify and Acknowledge the gifts and abilities that the children possess - regardless of age. Finally our goal is to Train, Equip and Guide the children through an intimate, personal relationship with their heavenly Father to be who God created them to be with confidence. Samuel's Garden is a place where children are planted and rooted into the good soil of the Kingdom of God, watered by the Spirit and encouraged to grow to their full potential.
